ALBENI FALLS DAM

The Army Corp of Engineers offer free tours and exhibits showing how electricity is generated at this fifty plus year old dam. Call (208) 437-3133 for more information.

BROWNS BUFFALO RANCH

View herds of these wonderful animals at a ranch a few miles north of town on Peninsula Road off of Highway 57. USDA inspected Buffalo meat available. Call (208) 448-2320 for information.

STIMSON LUMBER

An active timber mill that produces millions of board feet of studs annually. Tours are often available for individuals or groups. Call (208) 448-1141 for information.

PRIEST RIVER EXPERIMENTAL FOREST

Founded in 1911, the 6,368 acre Experimental Forest was one of the first in the nation. Run by the Forest Service and the University of Idaho, it provides a living, dynamic source of information about forest climate, water, insects, diseases, and vegetation. Depending on the season you can drive to the lookout for scenic views, huckleberry and mushroom picking and wildlife viewing. Call (208) 883-2316 for information or to arrange for a group tour. The Experimental Forest is located on Peninsula road off of Highway 57 about a half hour's drive from town.

RILEY CREEK BLUEBERRY FARM
